O Tirana! July 29th

Hi Family!

It has been a good week for me. I have learned a lot! I love being a missionary because you learn so much about so many things, especially yourself, it's so good.

Kayla wrote me this week saying that she is laughing and smiling all the time and I loved it! I know that Heavenly Father wants us to be happy! A conference talk that I read this week said something like Happiness isn't just the destination, it is also the journey! I think it was Elder Uchdorf in the Young Women session. I know that happiness and laughter come mostly when we are filled with the spirit and doing good things. Heavenly Father wants us to be happy and enjoying every step of our journey and as we work hard to do things He would want us to do and become the people He would want us to become. For me as a missionary, like Kayla, I know I am doing the Lord's work the Lord's way when I am also enjoying my everyday and loving being His missionary here! When I am down or not quite happy I know I don't have the spirit like I should and I need to change something. I think this is a huge reason why I have enjoyed being a missionary so much, It's all about the spirit and enjoying the journey! I love it!

It also reminded me of a time just before my mission actually when I stayed with Nicki for like a week. We were all headed back to Midway to drop me off, back at home and something must of been funny because I started laughing. I will never forget that moment because Dominick looked at me and said, "Kristi, you're a laugher." haha. I think he was right! I think I am and I'm so glad to be! I hope that all of you are smiling, laughing, dancing, singing, and being filled with the spirit daily. It is the only way to live you see!!! It's the best way! It's the Lord's way! I LOVE understanding more and more about who the Savior really is and how I can strive to become more like Him. I love that that is what life is all about, becoming! And we all get to become together!

This week was full of learning experiences. Motra Kokol is really smart in the study of language already, having studied French before, and it has been so good for me! This week we started really digging into our language studies and I have loved it! My brain has started to really hurt again and it feels so good. I am definitley far from being perfect at this language, but I am not ever going to stop trying. I love when I find a new way to study the language, to help myself progress more in my abilities. I love it! I also learned more about my character, good things and bad, so that I can work on becoming more daily!

I love you all. I'm thankful for you and so glad I get to be here with these wonderful people to share the Truth with them. It's the most important. It is our everyday purpose and it is wonderful!!

Tung!
