WOW!! Sounds like everyone is staying busy and loving living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love it!
I'm so excited that Kayla is already a missionary. I
thought about her all day last Wednesday and probably told everyone I
ever met that my little sister is now a missionary just like me! What a
special time. I love her and I'm so excited to be missionaries together.
It's the best work!
I talk to Sister Alyssa Kohler often and just got an
email response from Sister Rachael Koher today also! They both look SO
good. What an awesome time to serve all together and all over the world!
It is so fun to see their pictures and hear some of their stories. "The
grass withereth, the flower fadeth; but the Word of our GOD shall stand
Forever!!" Isaiah 40:8 The Gospel is being spread all over the
world... ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! So amazing. The promises are coming to
pass..I love it!
Last night we got our transfer calls. Our Mission
President had always called all the missionaries individually to tell us
our transfers, but then last transfer he decided he was the only
Mission President doing that still and so had the AP's do it for the
first time... lets just say he didn't like that so he's back to calling
us all again. Quite a big job, but I love it that he calls us each. He
really is such a great man. I admire him and his wife very much. They do
everything the way the Lord would do it, and that makes my mission the
best mission in the World!! ha.
Anyway, this time I was feeling a little nervous for my call not
knowing at all really what was up for me next. But he told me I am going
to Tirana, Albania. The capital city in Albania and will be opening a
new area there for the sisters. It had sisters in it once before, like a
year and a half ago, but now we are opening it back up. I will be over 2
different big branches in Tirana and to just add a little cherry on the
top... will be training again. Not gunny lie kinda felt and still kinda
feel maybe a little overwhelmed, but I know the Lord will help me
accomplish anything. And if he needs me there, that is where I will go
and do my best everyday.
In situations like this it always makes me thankful for my college
experiences. Knowing that sometimes at the beginning you look at the
task or all you have to do for the whole semester and be so overwhelmed
thinking I just don't know I can do this, but you just learn that you
have to take it one step at a time. little by little and before you know
it, you have accomplished a huge task and LOVED IT!
Our mission is GROWING! We have a lot of
missionaries coming in this week and more and more on their way for the
next and next. It is kinda exciting to be here with all the change. A
lot of new areas are opening and for this transfer President just split
up our mission into 3 different zones instead of just 2. I think Albania
will have a Stake before we know it. SO great!
I already miss Kosovo and all the people that I love
here, but I know you always have to just keep moving on. Change is a
good thing. It brings a lot of growth and new adventures. I think I will
be serving now with some of the Elders that I came with from the MTC so
that will be really fun to be with them again.
I love you all! Have a super awesome week! Laugh, Dance, and Sing.
