O the Gospel!! -- Nov. 18th

Hi Family! 

This week has been really great!

This week was full of wonderful things...how could it not be I'm a missionary. We had a wonderful exchange with the Durrës sisters. I got to stay with Motra Smith in Durrës. She just got here the first of September, but is doing SO good! 

 

Pjetri's

We got to see the Pjetri family along with many of there investigators. OH MY the father, Ndue, Pjetri has never looked so good! He was SO happy, SOOO happy... I couldn't believe the change that is happening inside of him. He is really wanting to act on his faith and I think it is incredible. He called me one of his daughters and because he is working on keeping the Word of Wisdom I've never seen him so happy and alert. He didn't get angry even once and was joking with his kids the whole time. The whole family can't wait for him to get baptized... I hope he will continue to progress. Oh the Light that was in his eyes! and the spirit that really made him glow! My favorite thing we talked about was at the very beginning when he asked me what I thought the most important thing was in his life... I without even thinking immediately said his family. He was kinda shocked I knew so fast, but then continued with... you know! They are the most important thing to me. I do everything for them. I just want the best for them. I always knew this about him, but the difference now from one year ago is that he is now willing to act on his love for them! I'm very happy for them all.

We also had 2 wonderful Baptisms Saturday and Confirmations on Sunday. Amarildo and Dajana were both SO excited and it was really a special day. They both had family members and friends come that had never been to the church before and Oh... I'm just very happy for them! Now it's Dajana's mom's turn. :) I love them both a lot! My favorite was sitting next to Anila, Dajana's mom, in Sacrament seeing Amarildo in his new white shirt and tie sitting on the front row with his, non-member, father and Dajana in her nice skirt. They were both ready for their big day. The spirit was very strong in the meetings yesterday... the very best I'd say. And everyone was just SO HAPPY! Reminds me of the talk I gave before I left..."Is it possible to find happiness in this life?" YES!!

I love the Gospel and being a missionary. It's the best thing in the whole world! My time is flying by I hate to say... but I'll give it my best until the end.

Oranges and mandarins!! The members love giving us gigantic bags from their trees!! mmm... me too!
