This last weekend I got to go to my very favorite place... KOSOVA!! They had the very first conference ever there and my Mission President asked me and my companion if we would take the sisters that were in the accident back up there to say goodbye to everyone and be there for the Conference. Of course we screamed YES!!! I couldn't wait. Since the accident I was a little worried I may never go back. Oh it was wonderful! The people there are so special ya know! There is always a very special spirit that I feel when I am there. The sisters did well and I'm glad they too got to go back. We will definitely have sisters there again, just not sure when yet. but soon! We are important ya know. :)
Well.. in Kosovo the member of the 70 Elder Charles that came to speak to us first Saturday night told all the youth at a little fireside his conversion story. It is amazing! Then Sunday President Ford talked first about the sisters accident and explained really beautifully why bad things happen to good people. It was soo good. They have added on to the Prishtina church and so with all the missionaries working in Kosovo, the soldiers from the base, and the wonderful members and investigators we filled the church and they were saying there were 90 people there!! Talk about amazing!!! God's work always moves forward. :)
After
President Ford spoke Elder Charles spoke to us he first told the people
the story about when they finally got BYU students to Jerusalem. They
aren't allowed to procelyte or even talk/mention the Gospel to the
people there. One man, I assume goverment man, said "We can stop them
from Proselyting, and teaching others about the gospel, but how do we
stop them from shinning!?" Elder Charles told everyone at the meeting
that they were all shinning, and that they should be so proud. They
should each look into the mirror later that day and say they were
beautiful children of God that have a very special message and spirit.
That they shine! I loved it.The spirit was so strong. He gave a very
special message to the people and in the end said "Keep going, Keep
going, Keep going" "Vazhdoni, Vazhdoni, Vazhdoni" That is what life is
all about isn't it! We just gotta keep going! Keep trying! Keep rising!
I
loved seeing everyone and getting to say goodbye. I got to give some of
my things to my favorite people there, plus some good things my
wonderful family has sent me that they needed!! It truly is amazing how
the Lord works. He really does know all things. Listen to the spirit
always and keep shining! Pray to be an instrument in His hands and He
will use you every day to help others in need.
I
love ya lots! Have a great Thanksgiving! We are having a big mission
conference and will have a delicious Thanksgiving dinner and a big
talent show after. My District is going to rap the Restoration, The Plan
of Salvation. and the Gospel to an investigator while beat boxing too.
We've been practicing and I think it will be fun. Ha.
I'm thankful for my family!
Me dashuri,
Motra Hoover

It is awfully rainy here! But the spirit is shinning in
my heart! Hope it is in yours too. I can't
wait to see you all soon! The work
will always move forward! :) Ju dua shume te gjithe juve!
We just are in the process of also killing all the cockroqes
that like to live in our house with us. They aren't big, but lots. A
guy came this week and put stuff in our house to kill them... they don't
come out anymore and we are now finding them dead.. everywhere...
better dead than alive! :)
