Today has been quite the crazy day. We've been in Tirana
actually all day, so I don't have ... any time to write you or read much
e-mails that I've received. Don't worry I'll write ya next week!
I love being a missionary. We had a wonderful
Thanksgiving Mission Conference all together as missionaries. We did a
training on personal safety and all the other trainings were excellent
as well. I always love being trained and learning about how I can
improve and be an even better missionary. The Thanksgiving feast was
wonderful! and the Talent Show turned out so good! Our talent was
definitely the best!
Then Friday
the 29th was the Albanian Independence Day. So we had a big celebration
in Fier. The young women and young men put on the program and it was
fantastic. Lots of people came. Our recent convert Dajana can sing
sooooo good!! She sang a couple songs for the program and sang her heart
out. It was a lot of fun.... always ending in a huge Albanian dance
party :)
The very best part of the week though was our lesson that same Friday
with Dajana's mom Anila! Members make the difference!! We had 2 of her
closest member friends come and help us with our lesson and the second
she said she wasn't sure if she could get baptized because it is too
cold, they got on her telling her that she needs to do it now! So....
she excepted!! It was a miracle for sure. I love teaching with members.
We try to always do it. Anila is one of my very favorite people. I love
her very much and she is so special. I can't wait for her baptism cause I
know it will be so special!!
