Bela's Baptised!! -- Oct. 14th

Start off with a picture first this time!!

Bela is Baptized!! :)
This is a picture of the font we use here... :)
This is us siphoning the water out of the font and sweeping it down the drains to the ground... quite the experience. I loved it!

Hi family!

This week has been so great... and so busy! We traveled to VlorĂ« this week to do an exchange with the sisters there. I came back to work here in Fier with Motra Flores and Motra Wendt stayed in VlorĂ«, her favorite city, for the exchange. It went really well and was really fun. We kept working hard all week long and taught lots of wonderful lessons and met lots of wonderful people! Our English courses here have been really successful. Lots of people are coming and listen politely as we discuss a piece of Faith at the end. It is awesome. We've been able to meet with lots also outside of English which is so good.

One in particular came to the baptism service Saturday with her daughter and daughters friend. I had a lesson with her and the Sister senior couple here Motra Bott, before the baptism while Motra Wendt helped Bela get ready. We talked about what baptism was and why these people had chosen to be baptized and it went really well. Mosiah 18: 8-11. One of my favorite scriptures about baptism. I always want to clap my hands and shout for joy just like the scripture when people choose to be baptized!

Bela's baptism turned out SO good. There were also 2 others that got baptized with her that the Elders had been teaching. It was super special to have 3 baptisms together. Lots of the Branch came and the spirit was so strong. After the baptism itself all 3 bore their testimonies and each one was so special. I love to hear their feelings just after they are baptized. So clean! So pure! Sunday was likewise as beautiful. President and Sister Ford came for church here in Fier and we had a big turn out! 48 I think. We are making our way up to our 65 goal in Decemeber!! :) The Confirmations were so great! The Elders did so well... even Elder Linderman that just got here a month ago gave a beautiful prayer in Albanian! It's amazing how the spirit works... so amazing!
The Botts watching conference in English on their Apple stuff and headphones while the rest of us watch it in Albanian! ha.
I love you a lot graffiti in Vlore.
I love being a missionary and helping others learn about the Saviors love, and God's plan of Salvation! I'm also thankful that I get to be baptized each week as I partake of the sacrament and repent of my mistakes. I also can be clean! pure!

It's a miracle!
Me dashuri,
Motra Hoover
