This week was so wonderful!! I loved it! It was the
greatest thing ever to be back in Kosovo and I got to teach all my
wonderful girls up there! The spirit was so awesome and I love them all
very much! I always pray for them and I just know miracles are always
happening in that wonderful place. We had lots of great lessons and I
don't know if I've ever smiled so much I was so happy! ha. We did the
FHE lesson on Monday
night and it all just kept getting better and better. My favorite thing
ever this week was my lessons with Aferdita and Dafina! They were both
so wonderful! All about the Savior, faith! God's promises, and working
with God to solve our problems. I really felt that because I had prayed a
lot and prepared for them that The Savior spoke through me! Just like
in 2 Nephi 32, when it says that through the Holy Ghost we can speak like
Angles... which speak the words of Christ! I thought of things and was
able to say things that I had never even thought of before myself. The
spirit was strong in my heart and I felt so good knowing I did my best
and that I really was an instrument in the Lord's hands for those
special girls! I believe in Miracles! Driving there and back made me
thankful for America... The American Soldiers built the road that
connects Albania and Kosovo and it is... Amazing!! I never drove so
lushly... ha. :)
So in Fier... with lots of our lessons lately we
have been singing a hymn with the people we teach. Especially the Less
Actives/Returning Member lessons that we do. It has made such a huge
difference in their light and the spirit in the rooms we are in! It has
opened my eyes even more of the power of music and how quickly the
spirit comes when good music is sung and/or heard! I have always loved
being woken up on Sunday
mornings by Church music blasting upstairs. My mom knows best! :) I
never woke up angry or mirezitur! Always happy! I love music and I'm so
glad that Albanians do too!
I love you all very much! Have a super great week
full of scares!!! :) I love that here in Albania the people have heard
of Halloween forever but don't do anything. So when the church does
things it is really fun for people. We had a YM/YW activity on Saturday
and carved Watermelons, because orange pumpkins simply just don't exist
here. ha. It really worked though! and they all loved it! We are also
going to have a carnival Halloween party for everyone on Thursday. I'm really excited. Lots of the girls Saturday
were so excited and said that they had never celebrated Halloween
before! They loved it! and it will only get better... :) Happy
Halloween!
Me dashuri,
Motra Hooover.
