Forever Families --- Oct. 21st

Hi family!

This week has been so great! We have done 2 different exchanges and had a baptism!!

Kallashi Family!

First the Baptism: Petrit Kallashi was Baptized on Saturday and Confirmed on Sunday. He is the father of a family that was just baptized this summer. We started working with him when we first got here and it has been such a wonderful experience to help him progress and love the Gospel! He was so excited to get baptized and so were we! He had a huge smile on his face the day they came for the baptism. He couldn't wait to get the white clothes on. He has a wonderful wife and a daughter and son. They are all so great! He and his son both came to church on Sunday in White shirts and ties also! I loved it! Miracles!! It truly is the best thing in the whole world to see and help whole families be together in the Gospel! Oh it's a happy day for this family that will soon be forever in 1 year from now when they can all go to the temple together... and by then it may even be the new Italy temple! Whoa! So lucky!

Pjetri Family!

This story of forever families reminds me also of the exchange we had in Durres. I was with Sister Hawkins on Tuesday the 15th of October. We had a wonderful day together and in the end we got to see my Pjetri's!!! Oh they are all doing so well! They are so strong and only getting stronger. The whole family was there... including the dad that I love! I was really bold with him through out the lesson and in the end commited him to go to church again on Sunday. The First and Last time he went was last December with me and Motra Atkin. I told him that he once taught his family about Christ and now they are ready and wanting to help him to remember that! Anyway, last night I got a very special phone call from Motra Hawkins! She told me that the whole Pjetri family was there, including the father, and all dressed up too! Yes! he was even in a WHITE shirt and TIE! Maybe it was the one I gave him for his birthday this summer! Oh my whole life became even happier. I pray for him always... soon this family will be forever also! Happy day!

Kosova!!

Today I am also in a very special place... PRISHTINA, KOSOVO!!! We are here for an exchange and so came up slowly and saw some things on our way up for our P-day! OH i love this place. It just feels so much more like home. Happy day!

I love you all family! I'm the very most happy that we are also a forever family and that you are all creating forever families of your own. It really is the only way we can truly be happy!
