Hi Family!!! --- Oct 7th

Oh Albania!

HI!!

My name is Kristi Ayana Hoover. I am from Midway, Utah. I live currently in Fier, Albania as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and go by the name Motra Huvër. I am the 9th of 11 children and have the best family in the whole world. I love the Savior. I love the spirit. I love the truth. I love the changing power of the Atonement. I love true happiness. I love to love. I love to be loved. The outdoors is my favorite place to be. I am active. I am empowered when I listen to and play beautiful music. I try to work hard and always do my best. I am a tool in the hands of my Savior. I am a healer and I love to be healed. I love to laugh. I love to smile. I am a leader. I love to help others learn and recognize their personal greatness and potential. I am a daughter. I am a sister. I am an Auntie! I'm thankful that pure love lasts forever....I'm a mormon!

I've had a wonderful week this week. We are planning on helping Bella to make her first covenant with our Father in Heaven on Saturday and she will receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost on Sunday. WOW! exciting! She is so amazing and has been so prepared to meet us! I hope we can now also work with her family to get them excited about what she is learning as well. The father of a recently baptized family, Petrit Kallashi, is progressing! He has now prayed with us twice... the first times praying in his whole life. It is hard for him, but he knows it is good (and that which is good is of God). With the help of his family and the spirit miracles are happening inside of him! It's so wonderful to be apart of it! A blessing for sure for me to see. A whole family coming together in the best way possible, The Gospel!

We are continually finding more people to teach and accomplishing our goals. Motra Wendt is working hard to get the Young Women's program going good so that soon an Albanian can take it over and I am trying to get the Relief Society put together so that an Albanian can take it over. The members are doing missionary work and wanting to help the work grow and move! Our English classes here are so big and lots are wanting to learn about the Gospel. Lots of people are now coming to church, and hopefully people will also come back to church that have been lost for a while! It's an exciting time. I'm happy and working hard and I love it, being a missionary, exhausted, everyday!

At the moment all the billions of grapes are at their very ripest. So... it's time to make wine and Raki (thick Alcohol). At every garbage bin and all over the sides of the streets there are piles of boiled grapes like this from the makings... interesting...ha. :)
Today for P-day we went to the Fier Zoo... ya they have one here. It was interesting... kinda sad, but fun. Here is some things we saw...

Motra Hoover
