MTC Aug 22nd

My Dearest Family,
It has been another week at the MTC and I can't even believe it! Sometimes the days seem really long, but the weeks seriously seem to fly by. I can't believe I have already been here for 5 weeks... only 6 more to go! Which really seems like no time at all.
I am learning so much here! This week I felt like I climbed over my first little hill with the language. I am starting to really be able to remember things and put them all together. Its SO amazing. I am alot more able to really just speak from my heart instead  of memorized lines or phrases. I love it!

So as we taught our first lesson together this week I was really excited because not only did I use the information about Baptism we have been learning about in our Tuesday workshops but I was able to just think of what I wanted to say to her, have faith and say it. I did it! It was really great and helped me realize how little by little as we continue to work hard the lord will bless us and really by on our right and left! I also gave the closing prayer and it was the BEST prayer I had given yet! I used really great sentences and prayed about what we had taught her and about the investigator we were teaching!...even though most of the tenses were still all wrong! I felt awesome! Its moments like these that keep you going and excited to keep trying hard to understand more and improve more and more everyday!
I don't think I've mentioned but 3 weeks to go now...WOW how time flies!

This is something that I have recognized a lot this week is that the Lord really is in ALL things! God knows us each very individually and he places people in our lives and places us in other peoples lives always for a reason! We have trials and struggles only to build us up and increase our faith and knowing. He sends us revelation to not only keep us out of danger, and lead us to do what is right, but to also be where he needs us to be to help others and so others can help us when we are most in need! I love it!

This week I have been working on the Christ like attribute of Charity and Love! Its has been such a blessing to strive to increase my love for others! I know so much that Love is very powerful!! and that if we will be willing to accept His love and share it with those around us He will incrase our ability to love others! As Relief Society President I came to really understand this. I had such a strong love for girls that I didn't even know. It didn't even matter what was happening in my life I just always wanted to make sure that every single one of them was okay and knew that their Father in Heaven Loved them. SO MUCH!... even if it was only through me that they knew! Through this calling he truely incrased my ability to love as i was willing to share it! For ONLY through us can he be here! We are our Saviors hands, and hearts! and I hope that everyday I can strive to allow my capacity to Love grow bigger and bigger everyday until the very end! I hope I can truely come unto Christ by living and striving to be like he was.. Everyday! As I've studied about Charity I looked it up in the Bible dictionary, which I think all of you should do too, and it was amazing to me the difference in what Charity truely is, compared to what the world views charity as being. It really is so much deeper and more beautiful! Check it out!
It's been such a great week. I love my district and am so grateful that the lord placed me in the MTC right now with all of these Elders! They are still 19yrs old at times, but really they are very respectful and all work so hard! I'm already going to miss them in 6 weeks. Crazy! It's really also so amazing that two of our teachers are actually from Albania! I really try to listen to their pronunciation and they are really good at helping us become so much better everyday! I love them all.
This week I've been so grateful... here's just one thing from everyday that I've written in my journal. It's been such a blessing to have this idea to just at least write 5 things that I was grateful for during that day in my journal to get me to write! I haven't missed a day and I always seem to write more than just five things. Maybe if you have a hard time writing you could try this too... P-days, singing, Teachers, Feeling so blessed, Tea parties in the apartment!!, Family, Testimonies, Prophets!!
HOpe you all do great things!! I love you, and miss you all.
Me Dashurine,
Motra Hoover
